uninterested (in)与disinterested (in) Uninterested (in something) means not interested in it. uninterested (in 某物)表示对某事物不感兴趣：I’m completely uninterested in football. 我对足球完全不感兴趣。 If someone is disinterested they are able to be fair because they are not involved in a situation where other people are fighting, disagreeing etc, and not expecting to gain anything themselves from it.
