uninterested (in)与disinterested (in) Uninterested (in something) means not interested in it. uninterested (in 某物)表示对某事物不感兴趣:I’m completely uninterested in football. 我对足球完全不感兴趣。 If someone is disinterested they are able to be fair because they are not involved in a situation where other people are fighting, disagreeing etc, and not expecting to gain anything themselves from it.
