Imagine you are sitting in a warm, comfortable cabin of a plane, waiting for the applause of landing. Suddenly, you are told that you are not going to your destination, you are not allowed to leave after landing, you must not move a little, you must prepare to die at any time…
What are you to do? If you have no idea at all, it can be dangerous. You’d better read the following story.
Once, a man called Carl with his friend, Harald, was having a ride on a plane. Just as the plane was fifteen minutes to arrive, the hijack suddenly began. Carl’s wife Helen, the Prime Minister of the country with the Ambassadors and police officers was worried. The hijacker demanded that the government release two of their brothers. Helen and other people were carefully balancing the safety of the passengers and the terrible cause after the releasing of the two prisoners. Unfortunately, an American passenger was killed before their final decision.
For the passengers in the plane, the hours that had already passed were extremely long. They had seen the beginning if all the terror. They had seen the policemen moving around the plane, they had even seen death among them. Especially for Carl, this could be called hard time. Once the terrorists knew who he was, Helen and he would be in great trouble.
At this moment, Harald tried hard and also sensibly to save his friend. First, the passport should be destroyed, by coffee, his hand and his mouth, silently; then, he had to get a reason to conceal Carl’s personal information. He almost succeeded. But a tiny piece of newspaper, and an unsuccessful attack destroyed his plan.
Hard time for Helen came. She had to accept the demand of the terrorists. But that was not the target of theirs. After the terrorists told her that her husband was going to die next, the tension got even greater. The terrorists asked them to fueling the plane. That was a chance to approach the plane that couldn’t be slipped, and of course it was caught. A successful mission rescued every passenger remaining on the plane, and ruined the dreams of the terrorists.
It was hard to imagine what would happen if Harald did not make the passport disappear, and revealed himself before the American was chosen to die; or the brothers of the terrorists did not appear on the airport in time, before the second passenger was to be killed; or Helen accepted the demand earlier, even before the soldiers were ready to attack…Every single mistake would cause serious effect. Also for terrorists, every step must be planned carefully. If the plan revealed before it began, if they were shot when killing the first passenger, if Harald or another passenger successfully attacked them on the plane, the result would also be changed. It was not just a battle of the Evil and the Justice; it was also a battle among the Wise. Terrorists dare not take actions before they have wise plans, Policemen or soldiers also dare not attack before ensuring they are sensible.
Justice is not always greater than the forces oppose it. The event of 9.11 is the best example. When our enemies are wise, the only thing we can do is to be wiser. Neither anger nor strength is required here, for your enemies are well prepared, but it is unexpected for you. Every single chance is to be caught, every single mistake your enemies make is to be discovered. And, most importantly, calm down when emergent, and then you can be sensible, can be acute and win everything of yours in the battle. Evil is not so mighty; we also have the example- what happened this year in Heathrow, London. If Evil dares to come again, find your courage and confidence, and don’t forget to be wise and to fight!
