Professor Yeh is well-known for her numerous scholarly publications and her captivating lectures on classical Chinese poetry. This book selected 13 essays from Studies in Chinese Poetry published by Harvard University Asia Center in 1998. These 13 essays focus on classic Chinese poetry, including criticism work on Su Shi, Xin Qiji, Zhou Bangyan, Wu Wenying, Wang Guowei, etc. Prof. Yeh introduced methods in western literary criticism in her detailed study in traditional Chinese poetry.
