About the Author

Gu Yuxiu, also known as Gu Yiqiao, the “International Poet Laureate”, was a greatscientist, educator, poet and musician. He graduated from Tsinghua University and gothis PhD in MIT, once served successively as Dean of Engineering School at TsinghuaUniversity, President of National Central University, Director of the Education Bureau inShanghai and so on.
