Cao Zexian, born in 1966, is now a senior scientist at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than one hundred research articles on top-tier journals and a few books including Etymologicon for Chinese physics learners (4 volumes, in mixed languages), Thin Film Growth (English), Quantum Mechanics for Juniors(Chinese), etc. He is also a free-lance writer for the journal of Physics in Chinese.
