In her speech, Ms. Wang Fang shared the exploration and experience of FLTRP's overseas layout. In 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping put forward the "Belt and Road" initiative, which will celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2023. Looking back on the past decade, China and the "Belt and Road" countries have jointly made remarkable achievements. FLTRP's overseas layout has also been carried out step by step. In less than 10-years’ time, FLTRP has built a vibrant cultural communication network starting from the establishment of a Confucius Institute with publishing characteristics as well as 11 overseas editorial departments/publishing centers, then extended to the establishment of the China-CEEC Publishing Association including more than 50 publishing institutions.

Ms Wang Fang further took the "Key Concepts in Chinese Thought and Culture Project" as a typical example to elaborate FLTRP’s overseas layout from global to “glocal”. First, promoting domestic publishing and overseas export simultaneously. It depends on the first-class academic quality and the translation and publishing quality of international standards; Second, adhering to the international promotion route. In recent years, many signing ceremonies and book launches were held during the Beijing International Book Fair and major international book fairs; Third, starting from the needs of local readers and local market and carrying out localization distribution, promotion and publicity.

Ms. Wang Fang concluded that "recording human civilization and bridging world cultures" is the mission of FLTRP. Under the call of the "Belt and Road" initiative, FLTRP has carried out in-depth international cooperation and formed a distinctive publishing model from global to local and then glocal. In the new era, FLTRP will constantly promote the common prosperity of international culture and strive to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
