Think like a scientist 3
Sorting stones with water
You will need:
a bowl of water and some stones or soil
Draw your bowl with stones or soil in it.
Predict what will happen when you add and move the water.
Add water and swirl the water.
You will see the small pieces sorted by the water.
How am I doing?
Pretend you discover rocks with gold in them under your
school playground. Talk to a friend about how people could
get the rocks.
When learning science, does it help you to
close your eyes and imagine things?
