Standards for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (Chinese-Italian) （2015） is the competency standard for Chinese teachers at home and abroad issued by the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban, mainly concerning the following knowledge and competence that Chinese teachers must possess: basic in Chinese language teaching, Chinese teaching methodology, instructional design and classroom management, Chinese culture and intercultural communication, and professional ethics and disciplinary development.
