Ding Anqi, Professor at East China Normal University, PhD from Renmin University of China, and Councilor of the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching. Her research interests include international Chinese language education and the teaching of Chinese as a second language. Her publications include more than ten academic monographs and textbooks. She is currently the Deputy Dean of School of International Chinese Studies and the Deputy Director of the Institute of Global Chinese Language Teacher Education. She has been responsible for the training of global Chinese language teachers for a long time. She has given lectures abroad many times and compiled national Chinese syllabuses for primary and secondary schools for the Ministry of Basic Education of South Africa, Tanzania and other countries.
