This Series of Chinese language audio-visual textbooks is dedicated to exploring meaning-driven natural language in real contexts starting from speech aiming to improve learners’ Chinese proficiency and expressive abilities. Through the practice of using Chinese and learning related ideas and information learners can gain insight into authentic Chinese semantics. All three volumes are of similar difficulty and are suitable for Chinese learners at the beginner level and above. The series is based on realistic original stories about the campus life and studies of Chinese and international students. Each lesson presents a relatively complete and independent story with the three volumes forming a continuous and complete narrative. A 100-minute video of natural speech has been filmed to accompany the series.
